Excellence in care, gracefully delivered
A better way to work in care
Work in an environment where standards are clear, support is consistent, and care is delivered properly.
Intro
Built around doing things properly
At HomeGrace Care, we believe that high-quality care starts with the people providing it.
We take a structured approach to how care is delivered-so that carers are not left feeling rushed, unsupported, or uncertain.
Our focus is on creating a working environment where expectations are clear, communication is straightforward, and good work is recognised.
Why Work Here
Why work with HomeGrace Care
We are building a team of carers who take pride in doing things properly.
We aim to create a working environment where care is delivered to a high standard-and where carers feel supported in doing their job well.
A more structured working day
We focus on organisation and planning, so your day feels manageable and predictable.
Clear scheduling and thoughtful coordination help reduce unnecessary stress and allow you to focus on delivering care properly.
Consistency of clients and routines
Where possible, we prioritise continuity-so you are supporting familiar individuals rather than constantly changing environments.
This allows you to build relationships, understand routines, and deliver better, more personalised care.
Paid travel time between visits
We recognise the time it takes to travel between calls.
Travel time is included, so your working day reflects the full reality of the role-not just time spent in visits.
A calm, well-managed service
We aim to run a service that is organised and supportive.
This includes:
-Clear care plans
-Defined expectations
-Accessible support when needed
So that you are not left uncertain or unsupported.
Fair, transparent pay
-Competitive hourly rates
-Weekend pay enhancements
-Clear and consistent pay structure
We believe pay should be straightforward and reflective of the responsibility of the role.
A focus on delivering care properly
Our priority is delivering care to a high standard.
We structure visits and schedules in a way that allows you to work calmly, stay organised, and give each client the attention they deserve.
This allows you to focus on doing your work well, rather than feeling rushed or pressured.
A team that works together
We aim to build a team where:
-People support each other
-Communication is clear and respectful
-Standards are shared and understood
A strong team makes a demanding role more manageable and more rewarding.
Opportunities to develop and progress
We encourage carers to grow in their role over time.
Progression is based on:
-Experience
-Reliability
-Quality of work
Feedback from clients and supervisors
Work that is meaningful and valued
Care work is demanding, but it is also important.
We recognise the role carers play and aim to ensure that good work is acknowledged and valued.
A Typical Day
What a typical day looks like
Care work varies from day to day, but there is usually a clear structure and rhythm.
Our aim is to ensure that your working day feels organised, manageable, and supported-so you can focus on delivering care properly.
Start of the day
You will have a clear schedule of visits, along with the relevant care plans and information for each client.
This allows you to prepare for the day ahead and approach each visit with confidence.
During your visits
Each visit involves supporting clients in a calm, respectful, and attentive manner.
This may include:
-Personal care
-Medication support
-Preparing meals or drinks
-Companionship and conversation
Between visits
You will travel between clients within your designated area.
We aim to keep travel manageable through thoughtful scheduling.
Working with clients
Many visits will be with familiar clients, allowing you to build rapport and deliver more personalised care.
Support throughout the day
Support is available whenever needed.
You will have a point of contact for advice or escalation, so you are not left managing situations alone.
End of the day
You will complete any necessary notes or updates, ensuring continuity of care and clear communication across the team.
The overall experience
The role is active and requires focus, but it should feel structured and manageable.
We aim to provide the organisation and support that allows you to do your job well-without unnecessary stress.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for individuals who bring both kindness and professionalism to their work.
At the heart of this role is compassion-treating people with patience, warmth, and respect in every interaction.
Alongside this, we value a strong work ethic and a reliable, team-focused approach.
The qualities we value most
Working Hours
Because care needs don’t always follow a standard working day, this role may include evenings, weekends and other out-of-hours support.
A flexible approach helps us provide dependable care to the people who rely on us.
training and support
Structured support from the start
We provide:
-Clear onboarding and induction
-Ongoing training and development
-Support from supervisors and management
-Guidance when handling more complex situations
Our aim is to ensure carers feel confident, capable, and supported.
